LEADING GLOBAL FLOWER SERVICE

Contents of this year’s Christmas edition:

Dear .

There’s not a trace of old hat in our Christmas Newsletter – just reports on everything new.

Above all our uniform appearance under the name Fleurop.com is a new development spanning Europe, America, Asia and Australia. Uniform branding has, of course, been in the pipeline for some time, but our ideas in this respect are always as fresh as a daisy.

Two new research surveys of interest have been published in the USA and Germany. The notion that people take great pleasure in receiving flowers is now backed up by scientific proof. A € 5 voucher is enclosed with this Newsletter – so why not test the survey results yourself right now.

Im Flora Forum we investigate new aspects of the toadstool, its effects as a drug and influence on how Santa Claus is represented.

We have got some tips for you on how to keep your Christmas tree healthy well into the New Year. And we will be announcing the winners of the last competition.

So have a good read and all the very best for the New Year!

Festive Greetings

Well, the story doesn’t begin quite as you would expect.

Christmas tip
Sugared water keeps your Christmas tree healthy

It’s now been proven. The life of a Christmas tree is not a matter of when it was cut down. Forestry scientists at Dresden Technical University conducted a survey, on 16 spruce trees (Picea abies), which refutes the old peasant weather lore that Christmas trees will stay healthy until the New Year if they are cut down three days before the 11th full moon.
